Havens Family Fun Fest!
Come join the fun with fellow Havens families on Saturday evening, September 27th from 4-8pm!
It will be a good time to meet some new neighbors and connect with old friends!
Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets and the kids to play some fun games on the playground and the grass field!
The Havens Dads Club dads will be organizing rounds of Soccer, Kickball, Dodgeball, Basketball, Wallball, and other fun games for kids and parents to play until the sun goes down!
Date: Saturday, 9/27/14
Time: 4pm to 8pm
Place: Havens Playground and Becker Field
Dinner: TACO TRUCK WILL BE AVAILABLE or FAMILIES CAN BRING THEIR OWN PICNIC DINNERS

Welcome Back to a New School Year at Havens!
The 2014-2015 year will feature…
- a Havens Family Fun Fest in the Fall (9/27/14 from 4-8pm)
- our big fundraiser–Poker Night in early January (1/9/15 Save the Date!)
- a Daddy-Daughter Dance (Boys+Moms welcome too!) in the Spring (TBD in March/April)
- and the Tri-School Softball Tournament in June

Piedmont’s 6th Annual Poker Night Fundraiser!

Ladies and gentlemen are sure to enjoy this year’s event even more than last year! This fantastic night out is the Havens Dads Club signature fundraiser. The Texas Hold’em tournament is a blast for beginners and aficionados alike, and all proceeds directly benefit the kids! As always, we will have fabulous raffle prizes, cocktails, snacks, and super friendly dealers that love to teach the game! Come take a shot at this year’s Championship Bracelet and show your support for the kids!
When: Friday, January 10, 2014 from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM (PST)
Location: Veterans Hall, 401 Highland Avenue (between Magnolia and Vista)
Start time: 6:30 socialize, ~7:00 first hand is dealt
End time: last & winning hand at ~11:00
Dress: Casual… unless you have really good and stylish poker duds. No Ace’s up your sleeve allowed.
Food: Snacks and desserts provided.
Drink: HDC bottomless beer mugs plus additional beverages served by Queens of Poker.
Raffle & Auction: We will raffle off a position at the final table and have some fantastic silent auction items – tickets are available at the event for purchase.
Remember… it’s for the kids!

A New Year for Havens and the Havens Dads Club
The Havens Dads Club is thrilled to start a new year with lots of new and existing dads. This year promises to be a lot of fun with a welcome BBQ in September, the infamous Poker Night in January, a TBD social event in February, and the Havens Field Day in the spring.

Havens Family Field Day is Back!
The Havens Dads Club is excited to announce that Havens Family Field Day is back! Last year’s sold out event was a huge success, with more than 200 Havens kids and parents engaging in spirited team challenges, abundant silliness, and a tasty BBQ lunch. If you missed out or are new to our community, it’s a great time not to be missed!
Each registered family will be teamed up with a group of other families that rotates through multiple events. Some activities will be traditional and take you back to field days of yore, while others will let you shine in fun new ways! Games are designed for ages 5 and up; all ages are welcome. Tickets go on sale February 29th!

Time: 9am Registration – 1:30pm End of BBQ
